Third Session: “Papers on Ethics”

On Feb. 25th, 16:20, the third round of the presentation of papers started. The Third Session was moderated by Prof. Yang Jianlong. Prof. Zhou Weichi, researcher of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, delivered his paper on “The Concept of Freedom according to St. Augustine”. Then Prof. Luo Weihong, associate researcher of Shanghai Social Science Institute, talked about “Contemporary Values of Ethics of Religions”, followed by “Ethics: from Utilitarianism to Responsibility” by Father Zhao Jianmin, Head of Beijing Catholic & Cultural Research Institute. Lastly, Mr. Guo Decai of the Taoist Association of Hebei presented a paper on “Impact and Application of Taoist Culture in Contemporary Society”.
